PAUL JEBSEN
Paul Jebsen, 53, of Hinton died Monday, April 22, 2002, at his home near Hinton. Paul David Jebsen was born April 21, 1949, in Sioux City, the son of Lawrence and Norma (Jensen) Jebsen. Paul was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in rural Hinton. He graduated from Hinton High School in 1968. On August 9, 1968, Paul was united in marriage to Sheryl Heien at Elk Point, South Dakota. He farmed the family farm west of Hinton until his death. Paul had raised cattle, hogs, and for the last several years sheep, along with farming. Paul had worked for 13 years at Pab-Fab in Sioux City as a sanitation foreman. He truly enjoyed the outdoors and when he was not farming, Paul enjoyed fishing and hunting. He will be missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Sheryl, of Hinton; two daughters, Melissa and her husband Chris Ommen of Hinton; and Stacey Vos of Hinton; a son Corey Jebsen of Hinton; his mother Norma Jebsen of Hinton; a brother and sister-in-law Robert and Barbara Jebsen of Port Deposit, Maryland; a sister and brother-in-law Carol (Loni) and Bernie Krenk of Ida Grove; four grandchildren. Preceded him in death his father Lawrence Jebsen, his grandparents and a greatniece Alisha Ryen. Funeral services held at Trinity Lutheran Church rural Hinton. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery Merrill.
