ACCIDENT VICTIM DIES OF INJURIES
MRS. VAN VOORST PASSES AWAY SATURDAY

Mrs. Cleo Van Voorst of LeMars died Saturday, November 15 in a Sioux City hospital where she had been taken following an accident on Highway 75 south of Sioux City the preceding Wednesday. She suffered a fractured skull and other injuries and did not regain consciousness.

Cleo Roberts was born October 1, 1909 in LeMars, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Roberts. On February 4, 1928 she was married to Richard Van Voorst who survives with the following children born to their union: Mrs. Everett Sams, Merrill; Alex Richard and Alfred LeRoy Van Voorst of LeMars. She is also survived by one granddaughter, two brothers, Roy of Klamath Falls, Oregon and Robert of Canton, South Dakota and four sisters. Her father, a sister, Dorothy, and a brother, Donald, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Mauer's Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Anderson of the Baptist church officiating and burial will be in the Le Mars Cemetery.
