Mrs. Hattie Peck
Hawarden, Ia. – Special: Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Peck, 70, who died Monday at a Hawarden hospital after suffering a heart attack, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Methodist church here. Rev. C. C. Custer will officiate and burial will be in Grace Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Peck was born November 22, 1889, near Pella, Ia. She moved to Sioux City at the age of 7. She was married to Floyd B. Peck in 1907 in Sioux City.
In 1918 the couple moved to the Akron community and in 1944 moved to Hawarden. Mr. Peck died there in 1951.
Mrs. Peck was a member of the Methodist church and Rebekah lodge.
Survivors include a son, Luverne of Hawarden; two daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Stinton of LeMars and Mrs. Stanley King of Merrill; her mother, Mrs. Cora Lewis of Napa, Cal.; a sister, Mrs. Hollis Smether of Napa; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
