Mrs. Chris Albert

Mrs. Chris (LLillian) Albert, 45, route 2, Merrill, died Friday (June 14, 1974) at Sioux City St. Joseph Mercy hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Albert had been hospitalized since Dec. 27.

She was a lifelong resident of Plymouth couty with the exception of one year spent in Minnesota.

The former Lillian Meta Beeck, she was born May 28, 1929, in Plymouth county, the daughter of Christ and Meta (Mangelsen) Beeck. She was married to Laurel D. (Chris) Albert July 11, 1948, in Plymouth county.

Services were Monday at Trinity Lutheran church, Lincoln township, rural Hinton, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Donald Wertz officiating. Burial was in Trinity Luthern cemetery, rural Hinton, under direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Survivors are her husband Chris of rural Merrill; two sons, Gary Ray of Sioux City and James D. of Hinton and two grandchildren. Also a brother Paul Beeck of Le Mars and four sisters, Mrs. Paul (Ida) geaigen of Granvile, Mrs. Alvin (Elsie) Frerichs, of Hawarden and Mrs. Edwin (Ella) Frerichs and Mrs. Vincent (Rosie) Feauto, both of Akron.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brother, Ed and Chris.
