Roy L. Bullington

Roy L. Bullington, 75, of Akron, died unexpectedly Nov. 26, 1975 at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Mauer funeral home of Le Mars. Rev. James Ransom will officiate. Burial will be in the Le Mars Memorial cemetery.

LeRoy Bullington was born Oct. 28, 1900, on a farm in Plymouth county to Leonard and Esther McLain Bullington. He married Isabell Cox June 26, 1934. in Le Mars. They farmed in Union and Stanton townships in Plymouth county, and moved to Akron in 1971.

Survivors are his wife; a stepson. Homer Dumas of rural Akron; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Walker of Lusk, Wyo.; and two brothers, Mac of Portland, Ore.. and Robert of Texas.

Mr. Bullington was a member of the Baptist church in Akron:. He, was preceded . in death by his parents , a brother and a sister.
