Mrs. Herman Reemts

Mrs. Herman Reemts, 86, Akron, died Monday (Sept. 17, 1979) at the Akron nursing home of long illness.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Trinity Lutheran church. Rev. Marvin Mueller will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery. A prayer service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Schroeder funeral home.

Mrs. Reemts, the former Minnie Witt was born May 7, 1893, in Grant township, rural Le Mars. She married Mr. Reemts Feb. 18, 1914 at Akron. They farmed in rural Akron, moving to town in 1951. Mr. Reemts died in 1965.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Louis (Ella) Frerichs and Mrs. Arlo (Wilma) Roell, both of Akron; one sister, Mrs. John Harms of Le Mars; two brothers, Albert and Reinhold, both of Akron; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
