Miss Carrie Whiting

Miss Carrie Whiting, 95, of Akron, died Monday (Dec. 23, 1985) in the Akron nursing home after a long illness.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Schroeder funeral home in Akron. The Rev. Walter Gowen officiated. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.

Miss Whiting was born March 3, 1890, in Le Mars. She worked as a domestic for several years. She entered the Akron nursing home in 1974.
Survivors include a nephew and two nieces.
