Note: He is buried in Hancock Twp. Cemetery Find-a-Grave has year of birth as 1844.

Died at his home in this township, July 15th Duncan Ross, Jr. Mr. Ross had been sick for some months, but was thought to be better. His father from Akron was with him when he died.

The body was buried by the A. F. & A. M. lodge, Rev. Johnson, of Sioux City, being the officiating clergyman.

A wife and seven children are left to mourn their loss.
