Mrs. Robert Ross

Mrs. Robert Ross, 94, of Akron died December 5, 1975, in a Sioux City hospital of a brief illness.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8 at the First Baptist church in Akron. The Rev. Richard Nelson officiated. Burial was in Riverside cemetery under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home, Akron.

Mrs. Ross, the former May Louise Koch was born May 31, 1881, at Dubuque. She was a lifelong resident of the Akron area and a charter member of the First Baptist church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Alfred (Janet) Claeys of Houston, Tex.; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and a brother, Fred Koch of Phoenix, Ariz.

Casket bearers were Ellis Tucker, R. D. Clark, Les Mitchell, Kenneth Peters, Ernest Lucken, and Ernest Johnson.
