Died--At the home of her brother-in-law, Geo. N. Putnam, about six miles northeast of Akron, Thursday morning, July 20, 1899, Mrs. Madlon Putnam, agd thirty-eight years, of dropsy.
Deceased was a relative of John B. Putnam, who died here of consumption November 20, 1897.
Her father Nelson King, died last February while visiting relatives at George, Iowa.
Seven brothers and four sisters survive.
She had been a sufferer with the disease which caused her death for some time, and no doubt the summons of the Master was welcomed with joy.
