Fredrick Ronsiek

Fredrick Ronsiek, 73, Le Mars, died Thursday at the home of his son in Le Mars after a 6-month illness.

He was born June 8, 1897, in Sioux county and farmed in Sioux county and the Ireton vicinity until retiring to Le Mars in 1952. He was the son of the late August Ronsiek.

His marriage to Emma Hauschild took place Feb. 16, 1922, in Le Mars. She preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John American Lutheran church at Craig. Rev. James Sandvik will officiate and burial will be in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home in Le Mars.

Survivors are two sons, Donald Ronsiek, Le Mars, and Norman Ronsiek, Chandler, Ariz.; five grandchildren and a sister, Hilda Falk, Beresford, S. D.

He was also preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Mr. Ronsiek was a member of St. John American Lutheran church, Craig.
