EARLY SETTLER IN KINGSLEY PASSES
Mrs. Blewett Dies After Long IllnessMrs. Charles W. Blewett, 80, a resident of the Kingsley community fifty-six years, died Friday at her home in Kingsley after a long illness.
Mrs. Blewett was born June 4, 1862, at Hazel Green, Wis., and came to Plymouth County in 1886. Mr. and Mrs. Blewett farmed until 1903 on a place north of Kingsley and then moved into Kingsley.
Mrs. Blewett leaves her husband and a son, Charles L. Blewett, of Kingsley.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church in Kingsley, the pastor, Rev. M. L. Metcalf, officiating, and interment made in the Kingsley cemetery.
