JACKSON, Neb. -- Leo M. Feauto, 82, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Jackson, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, in Kansas City.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Jackson, with the Rev. Richard Whiteing officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be 6 to 8 p.m. today, with a vigil service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City.
Mr. Feauto was born March 25, 1923, in Westfield, Iowa, the son of Ray and Marie Feauto. He was married to Rethal for more than 50 years.
Survivors include four children, David Feauto, Roxanne and her husband, Valley Weaver, Renee Feauto and Dale Feauto and his wife, Lynette; eight brothers, Armond, Dick, Gene, Ed, Bernard, Doug, Robert and Earl Feauto; a sister, Shirley Matt; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Marie Feauto; his wife, Rethal Feauto; a son, Rodney; a brother, Donald; and his long time friend, Junior Whiting.
