Area Deaths

WAYNE GREENWOOD, 39, RITES SET AT AKRON

Funeral services for Wayne Greenwood, 39, a lifelong resident of Union county, S.D., who died in a Sioux Falls hospital Monday after suffereing a heart attack, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wesley Methodist church in Akron. Burial will be in the Riverside cemetery at Akron under the direction of the Lewison funeral home there.

Mr. Greenwood was born Dec. 17, 1922, in Union county. He served in the armed forces during the Korean conflict.

Survivors include the parents. Mr. and Mrs. connie greenwood; three brothers, Donald of Akron; Warren, residing in Florida, and James, residing in California, and two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Jean Dunn and Mrs. betty Ann Rager both of Sioux City.
