Arthur C. Clemensen, 87, of Sioux City died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Westwood Nursing and Convalescent Home.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Merrill Muller of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Clemensen was born April 7, 1918, in Plymouth County, Iowa, the son of Andrew C. and Bertha (Riebe) Clemensen. He attended country school in Plymouth County. He farmed in the Plymouth County area all of his life.

He had an interest in old tractors and farm machinery.

Survivors include his nieces and nephews, Allen and Harlene Mahaney, Kaylene and Allan Wells, Janet and Walter Clark, Marlene and Stanley Bye, Roger and Shirley Clemensen, Mildred and Truman Hardy, Lois Deitchler, Randers Strand, Richard and Pat Jones, Clayton Hanson, Phyllis Remlinger and Robert Hanson; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew C. and Bertha Clemensen; and 10 siblings, Mary Dietschy, Bessie Hunter, Beulah Strand, Edith Jones, Mabel Hanson, Helen Mahaney, Georgia Clemensen, Delores Clemens, Harvey Clemensen and Roy Clemensen.

Pallbearers will be Todd Mahaney, Chris Mahaney, Steve Sunt, Steve Krage, Leonard Kroll and John Barkley
