Services Held Saturday for Julius Eppling, 85 years, 3 months and 22 days passed away at Broadklawn Manor in Kingsley, Iowa, September 16, 1965. Funeral services for Mr. Eppling were held at 2 pm Saturday September 18, 1965 from the Dickinson-Michaelson funeral Home, with Rev Myron W. Brockmeyer officiating. Serving as casketbearers were Messrs. Harry Bundy, Anthony Bride, Merlin Eppling, S.C. Thomson, George Moritz and Edward Bride. Internment was in the Kingsley cemetery.

Mr. Eppling was born at Port Clinton, Ohio, May 24, 1880, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Eppling. He was united in marriage to Gertude Schultz in Ohio in 1907. After his marriage he came to Iowa and lived and farmed in Woodbury and Plymouth County. The past several years he has lived in Hinton, Iowa, where he was a carpenter.

Survivors include two sons; Orvel of Moville, Harold of Woodward, Iowa, and one daughter, Viola Reinholdt of Yakima, Washington; seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren; five half brothers, Herman, Otto, August, and Leonard of Kingsley and Robert of Remsen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one daughter Irene who passed away June 2, 1965, two sisters, three brothers and two half brothers.
