Elsie Janicke, 75, of Le Mars died Saturday (April 26, 1986) at a Sioux City hospital.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s American Lutheran Church in Le Mars. Rev. David Kramer will officiate. Burial will be in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Monday in Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.

Miss Janicke was born Oct. 9, 1910, in Plymouth County to William Albert and Mary Onken Janicke, and was a lifelong Le Mars area resident. She worked at Sheehan Produce Co. in Le Mars for many years.

Miss Janicke was a member of St. John’s American Lutheran Church.

Surviving is a brother, John and his wife Alvina, of Eden Valley, Minn.; a niece and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
