Mrs. Donald Kiewel

Mrs. Donald (Darlene) Kiewel, 37, rural Westfield, died unexpectedly Sunday (Sept. 7, 1986) at her home.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Schroeder funeral home at Akron. Rev. Benard Nelson officiated. Burial was in the Akron Riverside cemetery. Visitation was held from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The former Darlene Overbeck was born Aug. 2, 1949, at Onawa to Laura and Alvin Overbeck. She had lived in Sioux City and the rural Westfield area. She married Donald Kiewel March 27, 1971, at Akron.

Survivors include her husband, Donald, rural Westfield; two sons, Jonathan and Timothy and a daughter, Tammy, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Overbeck of California; three brothers, Harold and Randy of Plasterville, Calif., and Darrell of Kentucky; two sisters, Sharon Overbeck of Jefferson, S.D. and Kris Dieterman of Craig.
