Ryan Todd Hemmingsen, 6-week-old son of Craig Hemmingsen and Robin Jammerthal of Akron died unexpectedly Tuesday (April 5, 1988) at his home in
Akron.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Wesley United Methodist church. The Rev. Peter Peterson and Rev. Burl Ratzsch officiated. Burial was in Riverside cemetery in Akron, under direction of Schroeder funeral home of Akron. Ryan was born Feb. 21, 1988, in Akron.

Survivors include his parents; two brothers, Dustin Thomas and Nathaniel John, both at home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Jammerthal of Akron; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gail Hemmingsen of Akron; maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Sprenger of Sioux City; and paternal great-grandparents, Margaret Adams of Akron and Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hemmingsen of Newell.
