Carl Harms Died Wednesday Night

Spent Entire Life In This County

Carl Gerrit Harms, residing at 37 Fourth Avenue SW., died at his home Wednesday evening at 10 o’clock of a hemorrhage following a recent accident.

Carl Harms was born May 22, 1900, in Preston township, Plymouth county, the son of Henry C. and Sophia Harms. He grew to manhood in Plymouth county which has been his home continuously with the exception of a few years. He has recently been employed as caretaker at the Cass and Parker turkey farm.

Mr. Harms is survived by one brother Henry G. Harms of Le Mars, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Gale of Akron.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 30, at 2 o’clock at St. John's American Lutheran church in Le Mars with Rev. L. L. Belk officiating. Burial will be in the city cemetery with Maurer’s in charge.
