BEN EILKS IS DEAD

Deceased Was a Well Known Resident of Washington Township

Bentert Eilks, a resident of Plymouth county for the past thirty years died at his home in Washington township yesterday. Mr. Eilks had been in poor health for the past six months and his death was not unexpected.

He was nearly sixty-six years of age having been born in Germany on June 22, 1850. He was a widower and leaves several sons. He was a brother-in-law of Claus Mammen and John Onken, of this city.

The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon at the Grant township church, Rev. J. D.Meyer officiating.
