LLOYD SAVAGE
Lloyd Savage, 85, of Sioux City died Monday, August 2, 1999, at a Sioux City nursing home following a lengthy illness. Services were held at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Burial was in Arlington Cemetery Moville, Iowa. Mr. Savage was born July 19, 1914, in Hinton, Iowa, the son of George and Rosabelle(Reinsch) Savage. He married Mabel Cornils on January 10, 1969, in Sioux City. He owned a farm-to-market Truck Company for several years and was then employed as a foreman at Wilson Trailer for 20 years. He retired from Steffen Truck. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and Tri-State Coachman Club. Survivors include his wife; a son and his wife James and Mary Cornils of Dexter, Michigan; two daughters Constance Andersen and Nancee and her husband Eugene Luebbert all of Sioux City; a brother and his wife Clyde and Lillian of Sioux City; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. He preceded in death by a granddaughter, Carol Cornils.
