Mrs. B. A. Adams and Howard Searls received the sad news of the death of their sister, Mrs. Lillian Hollister, last Thursday evening in San Jose, Calif., aged 85 years. She was invalided by a fall four years ago. As a young woman, Mrs. Hollister lived near here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Searls, who were early day residents of Portland township. Another sister and brother surviving are Mrs. Ray Easton of San Diego, Calif., and Fred Searls, of San Jose.
