Le Mars Young Business Man Taken By Death

Henry A. Prust Succumbs After Few Hours Illness

Henry A. Prust, 35, well known Le Mars young man, died Sunday night at the Sacred Heart hospital in this city. Mr. Prust suffered a stroke Saturday night while at his home and was taken to the hospital. He never rallied and was unconscious from the time of the seizure until death ensued.

Henry A. Prust was the son of the late Herman A. Prust and Mrs. Edith Prust and was born in Le Mars, July 5, 1907. He was graduated from the Le Mars high school in 1924, and attended Western Union college, Iowa State college at Ames and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Neb. He was employed in the First National bank and in the American Trust and Savings bank. Of late years he was engaged in the insurance business, associated with the firm of Jacob G. Koenig & Co. Mr. Prust was a member of St. John's Evangelical church and a member of LeMars lodge No. 428, Order of Elks. He was married to Wilma C. Mueller, September 10, 1932, at Elk Point, S. D.

He leaves to mourn his early death, his wife, Wilma, his mother, Mrs. Edith Prust, his aunt, Miss Amanda Prust and many other relatives.

Mr. Prust of late years suffered ill health but maintained a cheerful disposition and met his affliction with fortitude. His friends and associates were always assured of a cheerful greeting.

The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at the residence 627 Fourth avenue SE., at 1:30 p . m. and services will be held in St. John's Evangelical church at 2 o'clock, in charge of the pastor, Rev. R. R. Hunger, assisted by Rev. Glen Morrow, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. The pallbearers will be Claire Gunther, Clem Gunther, Arthur Hansen, Robert Dempster, Wm. Grahlman and Herman Becker Jr.

Interment will be made in the family burying ground in the city cemetery.

The Mauer funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
