HENRY CRAMER DEAD AT AGE OF 92
RITES HELD MONDAY
Funeral services for Henry Cramer, 92, longtime Craig area resident, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John Lutheran church in Craig. Rev. Ernest Christensen officiated and burial was in Christ Lutheran cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home.
Mr. Cramer was born June 11, 1875, in Germany and came to the United States at the age of six. He has since lived in Plymouth “County. His home was at 401 Sixth Ave. SW.He had been hospitalized for a week and died Friday, Nov. 10, after a lingering illness. May 20, 1900, he was married to Elizabeth Croon in Grant township. His parents were the late Bernard and Woblke (Lambertus) Cramer.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Walter (Tena) Barton and Mrs. Charles (Edith) Flachman, both of Phoenix; Mrs. Edward (Reska) Baack of Le Mars and mrs. George (Vera) Oller of Rapid City; two sons, Bernard (Ben) of Harrisburg, S. D., and Henry Cramer Jr., Jackson, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1916; four children, Doretta, Elmer, Lucille and Hilbert; a brother and a sister.
