Omer Nason
Omer Nason, 70, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and formerly of Westfield, died Friday (March 27, 1987) at Colorado Springs after a short illness.
Funeral was held at 1 p. m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial chapel. Rev. Robert Lemmerman, pastor of Riverside United Methodist church, officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery.
Mr. Nason was born July 26, 1916, at Sioux Falls. He served in the U. S. army during World War II. He married Janice Behrens Jan. 5, 1944, at Sioux City. He was a cement finisher in Colorado Springs for many years.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Al (Sandra) Boggs of Portage, Ind., and Joann Wieble of Vaparaiso, Ind.; two brothers, Alfred of Akron and Lawrence of Sioux City; five sisters, Alvina Steege and Mrs. Raymond (Elsie) Gardner, both of Sioux City, Mrs. Lowell (Christina) Steeg and Mrs. Robert (Alice) Bradshaw, both of North Sioux City,and Mrs. Ruby Morgan of Blair, Neb.; and four grandchildren.
