Arlen Borchers, 19, Dies of Pneumonia Feb. 20 In Woodward

Arlen Bryce Bochers, 19-year old son of Mr. and Mrs Eilert Borchers of near Le Mars, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, of bronchial pneumonia in Woodward, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Craig Lutheran church, the Rev. W. K. Schmidt officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Arlen was born Feb. 10, 1932, in Grant township. He had been ill his entire life. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith Feb. 10, 1932

Preceded in death by his father, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Leone Bochers, a brother, Thomas,and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Borchers.

Funeral arrangements were made by Mauer’s funeral home.
