A shadow was cast over the home of Gerhard Leuschen, residing nine miles southeast, by the death of their two year old daughter last Monday afternoon, of cholera infantum.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at three o’clock at the German Lutheran church. The remains were interred in the Akron cemetery.
