EVALINA GRUBBS
Evalina Grubbs, 107, Liberty, Missouri, died Friday at Ashton Court Care Center. Graveside services were held this morning at New Hope Cemetery Liberty. Contributions may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Evalena. Mrs. Grubs was born August 17, 1891, in Missouri City, Missouri. She was a member of the original Old Prairie Home Baptist Church. She preceded in death by her husband Lee Grubbs in 1980, one daughter, Margaret Petty, a grandson, Jim Stockburger, a great-granddaughter Tracy Benson, and a great-grandson Ashley Benson. She is survived by two daughters Evalyn Benson, Liberty and Ethel Stockburger, Hinton,Iowa; five grandsons Duane Stockburger Tupelo, Mississippi, Dr. Larry Benson Weatherby Lake, Missouri, Jon Benson Liberty, Dennis Benson Buda, Illinois, and Ron Benson St. Joseph, Missouri;12 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great- grandchildren.
