CAROLINE RICHARDS
Caroline “Bricky” Richards, 89, of Hinton died Saturday, June 21, 1997, at Brentwood Manor in Le Mars, Iowa, of a brief illness. Services were held on Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hinton, the Rev Boykin officiating with burial in the church cemetery. A prayer service was held at Meyer Brother Colonial Chapel in Sioux City. Mrs. Richards was born February 22, 1908, the daughter of Andrew and Louisa (Lebben) Casper in Hinton. She married Frank “Box” Richards on April 4, 1925, in Hinton. He died March 31, 1990, in Sioux City. She was a lifelong resident of Hinton. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church Ladies Aid of the church, American Legion Auxiliary, and she was a charter member of the Hinton Senior Citizens. Survivors include two sons and their wives, Darvin and Mildred and Don and Joanne all of Hinton, a daughter and her husband Darlene and DeWayne Roetman of Gowrie, Iowa; 13 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. She preceded in death by a son Dick and many brothers and sisters.
