ARMAND LANG
Armaned “Bud” Lang, 80, of Le Mars died Thursday, January 30, 1997, at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars. Funeral services were held on February 1, 1997, at the Mauer Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars with Rev. Larry Fett officiating. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery Sioux City, Iowa. Armand Lang was born May 30, 1916, near Merrill, Iowa, to William and Edith Ida (Peters) Lang. Armand attended country school at Stanton Township #9. Armand was united in marriage to Mildred Ideker on December 25, 1949, in Sioux City, Iowa. The couple farmed in Stanton Township until their retirement in 1987 when they moved to Le Mars. Mildred passed away on November 4, 1987. Armand enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and visiting with his many friends and neighbors. Survivors include his sister Lillian Petersen of Victorville, California and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mildred, a brother Ralph Lang, a half sister Gladys Schwann and half brother Glenn Lang.
