March 29, 1904DEATH OF WILLIAM T. SHEARON.
W. T. Shearon, one of the old and honored residents of Plymouth county died on Sunday night about nine o’clock at the residence of his son, Caleb Shearon, south-west of town. His death was due to old age, he being past eighty years of age. He was only confined to his bed two or three days before he died.
Wm. T. Shearon was born at Richmond, Indiana, on May 22, 1822, where he lived the greater portion of his life and was engaged in farming. He came to LeMars twenty years ago and made his home in this city. Since the death of his wife five years ago, he has made his home with his son. He was vice-president of the German American Savings bank of this city. He leaves two sons and a daughter: Caleb Shearon, of LeMars; William Shearon, of Elk Point, S.D.; and Mrs. Geo. Murphy, of Sioux City.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at the house, Rev. A. A. Randall of the Methodist church officiating.

April 2, 1904William Shearon, an old pioneer of LeMars, died this week. He was a wealthy land owner and was vice-president of the German-American Savings bank there.
