WAS LIFE LONG COUNTY RESIDENT

Funeral services were held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon in the Methodist church at Merrill, for Arthur George Lindsey, 59, who passed away Saturday night in the Methodist hospital at Sioux City. Burial was in Hillside cemetery at Merrill, with Rev. M.L. Metcalf and Rev. David Streyffeler officiating.

Mr. Lindsey was born April 2, 1894. He farmed northwest of Hinton, and had been a Plymouth county resident all his life. On August 10, 1918, he was married to Ellen Lake, at Merrill. She survives, and other survivors include two sons, Duane of Minneapolis, and Clinton of Merrill; a daughter, Mrs. Wendell Rhodes of Albert Lea, Minn.; a brother William of Sioux City, two sisters, Mrs. Louie Hauser of Merrill and Mrs. Glenn Stinton of LeMars; and three grandsons.
