LE MARS, Iowa - Dale Robert Noble, 84, of Le Mars died Tuesday, March 21, 2000, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Le Mars, with the Rev. Andrew Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Le Mars. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday, with a Scriptural wake service at 7:30 p.m. and a rosary at 8 p.m. conducted by Knights of Columbus, all at Feuerstein Funeral Home in Le Mars.
Mr. Noble was born Jan. 22, 1916, near Craig, Iowa, the son of Albert and Orpha (Millard) Noble. He graduated from Le Mars Central High School.
He married Agnes Beaulieu on May 5, 1937, in Ellendale, Iowa. They farmed near Hawarden, Iowa, and worked in Hawarden until 1962, when they moved to Le Mars. While living in Le Mars, he worked as a realtor and operated his own office until retiring.
He belonged to St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Trinity Council 1466.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert and his wife, Elsie of San Mateo, Calif., and Terry of Houston; a daughter, Mary Jo Sitzmann of Le Mars; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
