HANCOCK, Special Correspondence. Many from here attended the funeral of the late Mr. Poradek which was held in Sioux City last Wednesday. Mr. Poradek was about 62 years old at the time of his death and had lived here about twenty years. He was a member of the Maccabees and carried two thousand dollars insurance on his life and left a farm worth about twelve thousand dollars. He leaves a wife and seven children and a host of friends to mourn his loss.
