Mrs. Edwian (Anna C.) Stark, 89, of Stewartsville, Minn., a Merrill native, and longtime resident, died April 20, 1991, at Stewartville.

Funeral was at St. John's Lutheran Church in Stewartville at 2:30 p.m. April 23 with Pastor David Preuss officiating. Interment was in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester, Minn.

The former Anna C. Carstensen was born Jan. 25, 1902 in Merrill to Christian and Mabel Fiebing Carstensen. She married Edwin G. Stark in 1936. They farmed at Alcester, S.D. and at Stewartville and retired into Stewartville.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol Stark; two sisters, Sophia Carstensen and Sister Leone Carstensen, both in Rochester.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband; a sister, Gretchen Simonsen and a brother, George Carstensen.
