Arnold D. Lilly, 56, 1700 Claridge St., Sioux City, died unexpectedly Wednesday (March 1, 1989) at Kansas City, Mo.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Westfield Congregational church with Rev. Norman McCullum officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery, Akron, Iowa, under, direction of Berkemier funeral home, Sioux City.

Mr. Lilly was born Jan. 1, 1933, in Westfield. He lived at Westfield until 1953 when he joined the U.S. air force. After the service he lived in Sioux City. He married Patricia Waterman in Jackson, Minn. June 17, 1972. The couple made their home in Sioux City. He was employed by Direct Transit Co. as a truck driver. Mr. Lilly was a member of Abu Bekr Shrine Temple.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Duane and Terry, both of Sioux City; two daughters, Claresa Lilly of South Sioux City and Mrs. Wendell (Tammy) Krause of Le Mars; his mother, Gail Lilly of Westfield; two sisters, Mrs. Milton (Bernice) Wagner of Jefferson, S.D., and Mrs. Calvin (Norma) Gruis of North Sioux City, and four grandchildren.
