Mrs. Kate Goebel, 69, of Sioux City, died Thursday evening of last week at her home after about six months of illness.

Mrs. Goebel was born Feb. 5, 1885, in Plymouth county near Hinton. She was married to Harry Goebel in 1912 in Sioux City. He died in 1952.

Mrs. Goebel was a member of the Whitfield Methodist church.

Survivors are four sons, Ted of Storm Lake, Ia.; Howard and Ralph, both of Sioux City; and Kenneth of Luverne, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Rose Hurt of DeSmet, S.D.; a brother, Oliver Bonnes of Hinton, and six grandchildren.
