Following an illness of about three months, Mrs. Caroline Bonney, sixty-three years old, a resident of the Big Sioux Valley for fifty-six years, passed away in a hospital at Sioux City, away in a hospital at Sioux City where she was taken from her home at Martin, S.D., where she and her husband had located only a few months ago. She gradually declined until the end came Saturday, December 25, 1926.
Born in Watertown, Wis., in 1863, she lived there until she was nine years old, when she came to Iowa with her parents and settled at Akron. She resided here and at Chatsworth, Iowa, for many years, and about a year ago she and her husband, Wm. A. Bonney, moved from Chatsworth- to Casper, Wyo. She is survived by her husband, Wm. A. Bonney; three sons, Mahlori, Homer and Roscoe, of Chatsworth; three daughters, Mrs. Carl Humphrey, of Kingsley, Iowa;' Mrs. Wm. Schjolberg, of Madison, S. p., and Mrs. Robert Lawrence, of Sioux City; a brother, George Koepp, of Ogden, Utah., and a sister, Mrs. J. E. Niles, of Crawford, Nebraska. The relatives have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
Funeral services were held Tuesday in Sioux City and interment made In Graceland cemetery there.
