Minnie Albright Dies At Home of Son In Hawarden
Mrs. Minnie Albright, one of Plymouth county's oldest residents, passed away at her home in Hawarden Saturday, March 13. She had reached the age of 73 years, 5 months, and 6 days at the time of her death.
Minnie Mabel Albright was born in Le Mars on October 7, 1869. On January 6, 1890, she was united in marriage to Chas. A. Albright at the Trinity Lutheran church in Sioux City by the Rev. D. L. McKenzie. They resided in Merrill vicinity until 1910, when they moved to the Keenan farm west of Brunsville. They lived in this vicinity until the death of Mr. Albright on the first of June, 1925. Deceased made her home with her son Carl for several years and in 1929 she went to Hawarden to live with another son, Harry until the time of her death.
Besides her husband she is preceded in death by three infant sons.
Deceased was a lving and devoted mother, and was respected by all who knew her. She had suffered a stroke in 1925 and had been in poor health for a number of years. Her death came unexpectedly Saturday to relieve her sufferings.
She leaves to mourn her death four sons, Carl V. of Craig, Geo. of near Brunsville, Harry of Hawarden, Louis of Merrill; seven grand children, one great grandchild, on sister, Mrs. Nettie Tooker of Sioux City, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Methodist church at Hawarden. Interment was made in theMerrill cemetery beside her husband and sons. Pall bearers were six nephews, Charles ?Rembe, Will Rembe, John Muth, Henry Muth, George Eilks, and Ed Rembe.
