Theodore Montagne Dies

A resident of Akron for twenty-nine years. Theodore Montagne, 78, year old buiness man died Sunday at his home following a sickness of one year.

Mr. Montagne was born in Galena, Ill., March 17, 1855. He moved to Jefferson in 1867, where he and Ellen Collins were married November 27, 1887. In 1888 the family moved to Richland, S. D., and later to Oacoma and Beresford, S. D. In 1904 the family moved to Akron.

Survivors include the widow, three daughters, Mrs. May Root, of Richland, Mrs. Florence Dalgliesh, of Sioux City, and Mrs. Agnes Boden, of Akron, and two sons, Frank and Arthur, of Akron; one brother, James, of San Francisco, and a sister, Mrs. Henry Payne, of Elk Point, Fourteen grandchildren survive.

Services will be held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning in St. Patrick's Catholic church in Akron, with Rev. Father Rhoden officiating. Inter ment will be in the Akron cemetery.
