William Charles Poyzer, 68, of 1180 Webster, died Monday in a Topeka hospital. He was born April 23, 1889, at LeMars, Iowa, and had lived in Topeka 34 years. He was a Santa Fe engineer. He served with the 353rd Infantry of the Eighty-ninth Division during World War I and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his widow, Avis Poyzer, of the home; a daughter, Miss Geraldine Poyzer, of the home; a brother, George Poyzer, Emporia; and two sisters, Mrs. Jennie King, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. James Kollins, Corvallis, Ore. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

William C. PoyzerWord has been received in this community of the death of William C. Poyzer, 68, in Topeka, Kansas, on Monday, July 22nd.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. M. Poyzer, early residents of the Seney and Adaville communities, moving to Kansas in 1903.
Relatives in this area include four nieces and a nephew: Mrs. Harry Hawkins and Mrs. J. D. Tindall of Le Mars; Mrs. W. G. Roggow of Burke, South Dakota; Mrs. Calvin Andersen of Akron; and Stanley W. King of Merrill.
