Note: It is believed she had a first husband by the name of Freeman.

Ellen Johnson was born in Adams county Wisconsin, in 1868, and died in Perry; Iowa, Oct. 2, 1910, aged 42 years, 9 months and 11 days, of pleurisy and cancer.

She married Mr. Joseph Dashner at Grand Rapids, Wisconsin.

Five children: Mrs. Bert Shearer and Mr. William Freeman, both of Kingsley; Edward and Lyle of Necedah, Wisconsin;, and Miss Lenore, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; her husband; her mother, who is 77 years old; four brothers, Henry, Joseph,- Martin and John; and one sister, Mrs. Louise Bainbridge, are the immediate relatives left to mourn her loss.

The funeral service was .conducted by Rev. Norman McCay, in the. M. E. church, Thursday, Oct. 6th.
