The sad news was received here Saturday by relatives of the death of Mrs. Harry Lias at her home near Kilbourn, Wis. Her demise was incident
to childbirth.Esther Leone Tucker was born in Akron, Ia., October 30, 1883, and died May 25, 1912, aged 28; years, 6 months and 25 days. She was united in marriage-to Harry Lias in this city December 30, 1901. They resided near Akron until five years ago, when; they moved to a farm hear Woonsocket, S. D. Last February they moved to the present home, on a farm near Kilbourn, Wisconsin.
Besides the bereaved husband and five young children, she leaves her mother, Mrs. A. D. Lyons of Westfield township, who was with her during her last illness; two sisters, Mrs. Howard McCorkell and Mrs. T. D. Lyons, of Akron; four brothers Loren of Minnesota, John of Elk Point, Ben and Emery Tucker of Westfield township, this county.
A young woman of exceptionally fine character, her untimely taking away is deeply regretted by, many friends in this locality, and the entire community tenders its sympathy to the bereaved family. Relatives going from here, to attend the funeral were Mrs.-Howard McCorkell, Mrs. T. D. Lyons, Mr. and Mrs. John Tucker, Mrs. Walter Bennett, Ben Tucker, George and Ed Lias.
