FUNERAL RITES HELD. FOR MILFORD ANDERSON

Milford J. Anderson, 55, of Akron died July 16 at the Akron hospital after suffering a heart attack. He had been in poor health for some time.

Milford John Anderson was born in Sioux Valley township, Union county, S. D., June 22, 1906, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Anderson, early day residents. He married Edna Olson on May 22, 1938. She died in January, 1955. Three children were to this union. On Dec. 3, 1955, he married Mrs. Luceen Waterbury, of Akron, and two children were born to them.

Mr. Anderson farmed northwest of here in Union county all his life, until retiring on account of ill health and moving to Akron last December.

Survivors include the widow, Luceen; two sons, Marlowe and Michael; three daughters, Carol, Kay and Lori Jean, five stepchildren, Marlin Waterbury, Larry Waterbury, Janiece Peters and Joan Stotz; two sisters, Mrs. J. W. (Amy)--Bowman, of Sioux City, and Mrs. Eric (Ellen) Wedmark, of Akron.

Funeral services were held July 19 at the Big Springs Baptist church. Interment was in Big Springs cemetery.
