MRS. SAM SAMPSON CALLED BY DEATH
Rites Held Here Sunday For Well Known Plymouth County Woman
Mrs. Samuel Sampson, 65, a resident of Plymouth county for many years, died Wednesday, September 7, 1938, at the home of her son, Roy Sampson, in Craig, this county, after a long illness.
Mrs. Sampson, who had been living in Leeds of late years, left this part of the country last autumn to spend the winter in Texas. Returning to Iowa, she made her home at Craig. Mr. and Mrs. Sampson farmed in Plymouth county at various places for many years.
She is survived by her husband-; two sons, Roy., of Craig, and Otto, in California, and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Berger, of Fort Worth, Texas. A son, Kenneth, died at his home, northeast of Akron, August 29
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Akron M. E. church, conducted by Rev. J. E. Feller, of Leeds, assisted by Rev. J. F. Moore, of Akron. Interment was in Riverside cemetery.
