LEE S. SHEDD

Funeral services for Lee S. Shedd, 79, longtime farmer and resident in the Akron vicinity who died Thursday at an Akron hospital after a sickness of about a year, were at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church. Rev. Michael Strom officiated. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery under direction of the Lewison funeral home. Masonic graveside services were conducted by Freedom Lodge 434, A. F. & A. M., of which he was a 50-year member.

Mr. Shedd was born December 7, 1881, in Plymouth County, Iowa.

He married Estaline Rhodes on January 27, 1909. They farmed near Akron until her death in 1951. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
