Mrs. Ruth Louise Forslund

Mrs. Ruth Louise Forslund, 52, formerly of LeMars, died Friday night (April 11, 1981) in a Fort Smith, Ark, hospital. She was born April 11, 1929, at Seney, Iowa.

Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Monday morning in the Mena, Ark. First Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Duane Hamby officiating. Interment was in the Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Dennis Hodapp, Gary Hodapp, David Ewin, Keith Hodapp, Robert Hodapp and J. C. Ray.

Mrs. Forslund was the daughter of the late Charles Ewin and Mrs. Gladys Kennedy Ewin. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church and was married to Lee Forslund on May 28, 1949, at Minden, Nebraska.

Survivors are her husband, Lee Forslund, Fort Smith, Ark; two sons, James Forslund, Nashville, Tennessee and Timothy Forslund, Ft. Smith; 2 daughters, Miss Lois Forslund and Miss Tammie Forslund, both of Ft. Smith; her mother, Mrs. Gladys Ewin of Potter, Ark; one brother, Vernon Ewin of Potter, Ark; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Bos, Greensboro, N.C. and Mrs. Ida Hodapp, Van Buren, Ark.; two grandchildren.
