Dorothy M. Miller passed away on April 21, 2005 at Bradley Gardens Rest Home in San Jacinto, California.

Dorothy M. Morehead was born at Plymouth County, IA, Oct. 4, 1907, to Charles O. and Elizabeth (Hoffman) Morehead, near Westfield, IA. She married Leonard Miller on Jan. 14, 1925 in Le Mars, IA, and they lived in Akron,Plymouth County, IA, until moving to San Diego, CA 1944, when Leonard got a job at Convair Aircrat until 1958. Dorothy went to work for the Home Health Care Industry for Mrs. Carlson and was a devoted employee until she retired in 1973. In 1979 she and Leonard moved to Riverside, CA to be closer to their daughter Darlene and their two granddaughters, Lynne and Paula. Leonard died in 1982.

Survivors include her granddaughter Paula Jean Lewis Tobin, five great-grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren, one sister, Joy Bernice McCorkell and many nieces and nephew.

Besides her husband Leonard, she was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Darlene, her granddaughter Lynne, four brothers, and six sisters.

She was buried beside her beloved husband Leonard in Crestlawn Memorial Park, Riverside, CA.
