Life's end

LUCILLE D. LAUX DIES AT AGE 80

Lucille D. Laux, 80, lifelong Plymouth county resident, died Wednesday at Sacred Heart hospital following a short illness.

Miss Laux was born Jan. 4, 1886, in Le Mars. Her home was at 115 First Ave. SE. Her parents were the late Wilhelm and Lydia (Duerr) Laux.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mauer funeral home. Burial will be in Le Mars Memorial cemetery.

Survivors are her brother, Russell Laux and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Bernice.
